  • Cole and Joe Jones met one another for the first time when Joe had started working with singer-songwriter Justin Tranter of Semi Precious Weapons for DNCE‘s debut album.
  • In 2015, he along with vocalist Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, and JinJoo Lee came together to form the dance-rock band DNCE.
  • One of the earliest bands that he performed with was called Fish Nipple.
  • Cole was only 6 years old when he began learning to play the piano. Initially, he had been learning jazz and avant-garde.
  • With DNCE, Cole released his debut self-titled studio album on November 18, 2016. The album was originally compiled with a total of 14 tracks in all and included hits like Body Moves, Cake by the Ocean, and Toothbrush.
